Sucker Lake is the 3rd lake in the North Oaks Chain that  drains into East Lake Vadnais, and is then pumped to the St. Paul Regional Water Service's (SPRWS) treatment plant to process for drinking water. Monitoring data is not collected on Sucker Lake by VLAWMO, but is collected by the SPRWS to ensure the quality of water before entering the final water basin and being pumped for treatment and dispersal to over 500,000 customers.
