VLAWMO projects are designed to improve and enhance the quality of our community's water. Often working with partner organizations, schools, and individual community members, VLAWMO uses its resources to design and install projects like swales, shoreline and creek restorations, green roofs, rain gardens, pond and channel improvements, and more.
Five curb cut rain gardens were installed alongside the City of White Bear Lake's 2024 street rehabilitation. These gardens will treat stormwater runoff before it reaches Lambert Creek.
You can build your own home or garden project with us! VLAWMO proudly sponsors a cost share program to help individual community members like you by sharing the burden of project costs for improvements that benefit our water quality. Eligible projects include rainbarrels and rain gardens.
