Would you like to learn how to lower your water bills AND help protect our lakes and streams? Join us for a workshop about raingardens. In this class, you will learn where water goes when it rains and how a raingarden in your yard can be a beautiful landscape feature that will require less work and watering than a lawn. A raingarden can also help to replenish our groundwater supply and protect our lakes and streams for generations to come. We will discuss how to design a raingarden, the right kinds of plants to use, and how to install one in your yard. VLAWMO will also provide information about how you can receive money to help put a raingarden in your yard.

All registrants will receive a copy of The Blue Thumb Guide to Raingardens plus other helpful handouts and materials.  Please register by August 17th!
