VLAWMO and partners at the City of Vadnais Heights are working to maintain flood control measures and improve the Lambert Creek drainage system. The project has three components:

• Replace sheet pile with steel for long-term flood control at Lambert Pond
• Build a meander to improve creek function, re-connect the ditch to its floodplain, and reduce downstream sediment deposits 
• Insert bio-char treatment cells to remove bacteria, address creek impairment, and help protect East Vadnais Lake (U of M partnership)
