This popular volunteer activity from 2019 is back again for 2020. Help us continue to improve habitat and water quality at the site of the new iron-enhanced sand filter at Birch Lake. Reducing woody debris helps keep the filter functioning well and removing pollutants from stormwater entering into the lake. We'll be removing buckthorn on the north end of the site while accommodating with social distancing guidelines. 

Bring gloves and tools, if you have them handy. Staff will have a collection of hand saws and snips available for use.
