There was a great turnout and gorgeous weather on Saturday for the Water Conservation Expo in White Bear Lake! Participating organizations and partners included: Ramsey Conservation District, MN DNR, White Bear Lake Water Conservation, Recycling Association of Minnesota, H2O For Life: Race to Reduce, Cedar Hill Natives, and Metropolitan Council Environmental Services. Vanessa and Tyler from VLAWMO enjoyed the opportunity to speak with citizens interested in native planting, water conservation, and the resources and cost share programs VLAWMO offers to the citizens within the watershed to make an impact of their own. We were excited to collect the many rainbarrel cost share applications for the barrels that were sold at the event. VLAWMO would like to thank the city of White Bear Lake for the chance to participate in such a wonderful event!
