VLAWMO joins neighboring watersheds in a grit giveaway

Road salt is a permanent pollutant that damages wildlife in our lakes. It also rusts cars, damages soil and kills plants. Grit is reusable, works in all temperatures, will not damage pavement, and creates traction on slippery surfaces.

Join the fight to curb salt pollution with this simple change today.

VLAWMO is excited to join the Get Gritty campaign, a partnership with our watershed neighbors Ramsey-Washington Metro Watershed District, Rice Creek Watershed District, and Coon Creek Watershed District
