Public Notice - Request for Proposal - Legal Counsel Services

VLAWMO is seeking Request for Proposals (RFP) for legal counsel services for 2021 & 2022, as the VLAWMO Board has renewed funding for this continued need. VLAWMO seeks legal counsel services with experience and emphasis in municipal and environmental law, specifically in water resources. In the past, VLAWMO has sought legal counsel for a variety of topics, including, but not limited to:

  • Stormwater management, drainage, & utility
  • Contract & agreement review
  • Legal boundary updates
  • Wetland Conservation Act appeals
  • Enforcement action
  • Joint Powers Agreement updates
