Lake Surveys: Summer 2019

 

To help guide lake management efforts, VLAWMO partners with the Ramsey Soil and Water Conservation Division (RSWCD) to conduct lake surveys. These surveys may include lake depth (bathymetry), aquatic vegetation, shoreline vegetation, and fish surveys. While some surveys are conducted to address a specific issue or need, many surveys follow a rotation according to the 10-year watershed plan. Several new vegetation and bathymetry surveys have been produced this summer, all of which are available on the respective lake pages under the waterbodies tab.
