Black Lake
Black Lake is one of the most secluded lakes in the VLAWMO watershed, and is not accessible to the public. It receives inflow from Gilfillan lake and a series of several wetlands and ponds, and it outflows north to Wilkinson Lake. From Wilkinson Lake the watershed flow moves through Deep, Pleasant, Sucker, and eventually East Vadnais Lake. Black Lake is among the healthiest in the watershed, likely attributed to the lake's seclusion from development and landscape impacts that increase nutrient and sediment runoff.
