VLAWMO has 3 Cost Share Programs to help property owners with projects that benefit water quality.
The Rainbarrel Cost Share will reimburse 50% of the cost of 2 rainbarrels (up to $125 per rainbarrel). To access the application via Google Docs, click here.
The Best Management Practice (BMP) Cost Share Program funds projects such as raingardens, shoreline restorations, and other projects that protect or enhance water quality. This program will reimburse 50% of the cost of materials and approved labor, up to $1000. To access the application via Google Docs, click here. The Capital Improvement Project (CIP) Program is for larger scale projects (minimum TOTAL cost of $10,000). The maximum amount that can be requested is $5,000. To access the policy guidance application via Google Docs, click here.
Past CIP Cost Share Projects include the City of White Bear Lake's Green Roof on their new Public Works facility and the creek restoration at the White Bear Preserve Townhomes.
