Shallow Lakes Workshop - February 27, 2010

On Saturday, February 27, VLAWMO hosted a Shallow Lakes Workshop.  Two nationally known experts in lake ecology spoke about shallow lakes and their management.  Particpants also played The Watershed Game which allows people to better understand how different interests should work together to reach water quality goals for our lakes, streams, and rivers.  The slides used by our tow speakers are listed below.  The workshop was also videotaped and will be broadcast on local cable channels in the near future.  Also, VLAWMO will obtain copies of the show aired on cable which we will be able to loan out to interested parties who could not attend the workshop.
